On 08.03.2008, it seems that Sdr. Teh (2004 Candidate for Canning) is the happiest man... Thanks for his guidance, helps and inspirations during the past 4 years...

Please help to spread message

I have received the following e mail forwarded by DAP Malaysia to me just now. The e-mail was written by a concerned citizen in Taman Kemuncak, part of my constituency. The e-mail wrote (i would not put in the author's name prior to the permission given):
---
"Dear DAP Assemblyman Canning Estate, Wong Kah Woh

I reside in Ipoh Garden East, Tamna Kemuncak.

Before the General Election, my to be state Assembly man Wong Kah Woh comes round and shake everyone hand and saying that he will look at the residence problem.

Now election finish, elected, he is nowhere in sight. We do not even know where is his service center.
What makes his different from our former state Assemblyman Vincent Hooi ? Vincent now goes round telling everyone.

As a state assembly man in this area, make a point to eat at different places, breakfast and try meet the people and not disappear and reappear again only in the next election.

Unless he have no desire to continue his next term.

Our expection for him to do a good job is there. But if he behave now like that, I believe the people will get fed u.
This is the same for all assemblyman"

I feel i must say many many thanks to this e-mail as it tells me what actually the ground is feeling. Without the e-mail, i may feel the way i am serving the people now is on the right track, where in fact it may not be so.
---
I need all of you to spread the message around, especially on my service centre which is situated in Simee. Following is the reply i given to this concerned citizen:
---
"Thanks for your e-mail.

we have started walking in the constituency after the week of General Elections, starting in Simee (markets), Ipoh Garden East (shops), Canning (markets and shops), Taman Cempaka (markets and shops), Ipoh Garden South (shops). This was what the Canning team, instead of only myself, doing during the ast 3 years before 08.03.2008.

(so far places left were the shops in Ipoh Garden East near the flat, C-nine Restaurant, and some of the shops in Ipoh Garden South)

my sincere apology as we could not see and meet each and everyone of you, before or after election. The Canning service centre had been formally set up with a full time assistant running the centre 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. It is situated in Kg. Simee, just opposite the market. shall be obliged if you could help to explain and spread this message.

"As a state assembly man in this area, make a point to eat at different places, breakfast and try meet the people and not disappear and reappear again only in the next election." - i fully agree with you to this and will do. thanks for your point.

feel free to contact me at 012-3830619, but again i may not be able to answer all calls as sometimes will engage in meetings, court cases and even call waitings... just sms me ad definately i will be replying.

also my assistant number 016-2090485 Ms. See Wooi Jia.

shall appreciate if you could favour me a reply or sms upon receiving the e mail.

thank you."
